If the reference letter is dated year 2016, would that be a problem? I got first reference letter written at that time from my manager and since then he has stayed in the same company.
Or is it advisable to put a recent date on the reference letter for claiming duties and work experience with DHA? Thank you.
@NB Can you please respond to this? Thanks.

ACS will assess you only till the date of the reference letter
So any experience in the same company beyond 2016, will not be assessed by ACS
You have to get a current letter from the company if you are still continuing in the same company
Cheers

My assessment is completed by Engineers Australia.
Work Experience is also verified for that employment by Engineers Australia and currently I am not working in that company.
Whether I should get a letter with new date or old letter will suffice? Please note that old letter was issued after I left that company.

I have no idea about engineers australia working and requirements
I thought you were assessed by ACS

Hello, I lodged my visa application in December for 190. I noticed today how dramatically the processing times have increased. I was optimistic to hear back before my British passport expires at the end of august. I need to renew it ASAP to travel anyway but everything is linked to that current passport on my application? Unsure what to do. I knew how to change it after the visa grant but not sure what to do before. Does anyone have any advice please? Even all my lodged paper work is with my current passport. Any help/advice would be so appreciated. Thank you!

EA letter states that they are providing the letter based on the documents received by them. Include the document received from EA and add your supportive documents for the new employment. Final decision lies on the hands of DOHA officer.
All the best.

Renewal of passport doesn’t affect your application in any way
Just use the update us option in the Immiaccount and give the new passport details and it’s done

thank you @NB for the support regarding my EOI account lock issue and the inputs regarding 491 visa trap, I had to pay for the visa twice for me and my family, However 190 is a PR.

Hello Guys, I have a concern. I hope someone can enlighten me. I've just received a final invite to lodge visa 190 NSW. I have 3 relevant jobs assessed by Engineer's Australia in which the first 2 roles were in the year 2010-2012. Assessment was done in 2018 so there were still included. From 2018 until now I work as a freelancer. I requested a renewed/updated outcome letter so there are no other changes except for the outcome letter date, and the two outdated roles are still there. I only claim the points for the remaining job from 2014-2018 for all my applications from EOI to NSW, but I still put the two obsolete ones and did not claim any points for them. Thankfully NSW did not mind as I got the final invite. Now for the lodging of visa 190 in immi website, it is clearly stated "Provide details of the applicant's employment history for the past 10 years" .
My questions are :
1. Is it is okay if I still put the two obsolete roles as I have documents to support them in addition to my role in 2014-2018? Just for the reason that I'm afraid my application will not be convincing if I only put one job role that is only from 2014 to 2018.
2. Do I need to include that I work as a freelancer from 2018 onwards? But I have no government-related documents to support it except for the payments sent in email and paypal. Obviously I am not claiming any point from this and I know if I'm required to submit form 80 all gaps and employments should be included. But I am referring to the immi website application without form 80 yet.

You have to prove all the claims you made in the EOI in Skillselect
How have you shown your employment in that and which are shown as relevant?
Cheers

Hello NB, I included the two obsolete employments in my EOI as they are present in my skills assessment even though they are not within 10 years anymore (2010-2012), but yes they are assessed as relevant before (in year 2018) I am just not claiming points from them as they no longer count. Is it okay to still include them in my visa application just to be consistent with my EOI, and skills assessment? Even though in immi website it says "Provide details of the applicant's employment history for the past 10 years."?

What should be the best thing to do? Got invited and approved by NSW to apply for 190 but my EOI which I created in November mistakenly included 2 relevant/assessed-by-EA jobs that are not within the last 10 years. I am not claiming points for them it's just that they are included in my EOI when should not as it says last 10 years. I still have an active EOI for 189 and hoping to get invited for next round and for this EOI this should be deleted right ? Should I continue to apply for 190 even though my EOI for NSW 190 has these two relevant jobs not within the last 10 years? Will it be a problem?

Visa application also states for 10years. So why do you want to include them? Even if you include for consistency and they are relevant, there seems to be no reason to think about it.

Hello skreddy08, this really bothered me. In my EOI for NSW 190, I included these two which should not be as they are more than 10 years. I could not delete them and edit my EOI as I am already invited and it is already frozen (sample screenshot is from another EOI). Is it safe to proceed with my visa application for 190 even if my EOI does not match in this sense? They have no bearing in points but yes my worry is inconsistency in my EOI and visa application if it would be a problem.

You can proceed but while filling visa application list most recent first and then include these outdated data in the last so that it would not be confusing to the CO. If you're filling form80, mention same thing in that too (same order). Shouldn't be much of a problem to me if you ask.

My question is very simple
Which employments have you marked as relevant in the EOI?
Forget what period they are
What matters is what you have marked in the eoi
Cheers

HI NB, I both marked YES to the question "Is this employment related to the nominated occupation?" in the EOI for these two outdated jobs since they were assessed as relevant by Engineers Australia in year 2018. I only got 5 points in the EOI from my most recent relevant job from year 2014-2018. So even if I marked the outdated two as yes they were not counted in the points calculation. I hope I can safely proceed. Will this be okay ?
