Hi guys, I am sorry if this may have been asked a lot of times and I have done a lot of reading and have some guesses in my mind, but I just gotta create this so I can double check and make sure I am not overclaiming points so I dont waste any invites and my Money as well. So today I have just received a letter from ACS about the result of my assesment and the result as follow:

The following employment after 03 June 2016 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled
level and relevant to ANZSCO Code 263111 (Computer Network and Systems Engineer).
Dates: 03/19 - 03/20 - 1 year(s) 1 month(s)
Position: Junior IT support

Country: Australia

Since I have done PY, and through enough reading, I can claim 5 points correct?
What makes me writing this thread is because at the bottom there is a saying mentioned that:

While the ACS is authorised to assess ICT skills assessments, the final decision in awarding points remains
with the Department of Home Affairs.
This assessment is based upon the documents provided. By issuing this letter or otherwise, the ACS makes no
representation regarding:

The authenticity of documentation provided or the veracity of content.
The suitability of the applicant for migration or employment.

What I am afraid of is because my experience on the close to 1 year, I am afraid let say if I got unlucky and DHA assess it only for 10- 11 months, due to the nature of my work being casual employment.
So my question is
1) does DHA usually more lstrict in working hours or they usually would follow ACS result?
2) If I submit the evidence that I provide to ACS to DHA, will that be enough? or should I work more months just to be safe? before claiming points?
3) What happen if it turns out they refuse my 1 year experience claim? do i lose Visa applicaiton money or I can get a refund since I am just following ACS result? What is the worst that can happen?
4) In what scenario does DHA would not grant the points?
5) If I start working again lets say on June, same role same company, can I add it to my current assessment without having to re assess again?
P.s: I have not worked recently due to covid pandemic

Your help will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

1. ACS does not go very deep into the merits of the employment is concerned
So DHA does check the evidence very carefully
2. If you do not have regular 40 hours per week work evidence, it’s better to have a few months extra in hand
3. There is no refund. Your application will be rejected and visa fees forfeited
You can also be banned from applying for 1-3 years but chances of that happening in this case is nil
4. They will verify the employment is genuine or not and whether you have worked full time or not
5. Same company same role, you can add with minimal risk

Hi,

I do have regular hour of 40 hour per week, and did 60 hour during holidays, but How much should I get as there are some weeks where I only work 20 hours. Just how much evidence is enough for DHA?
Remove the 20 hours per week work from your calculations and then check when you complete 52 weeks of working
How are you paid ? Weekly or monthly ?
Based on working hours, does the pay fluctuate?
Which country is this experience?

I am paid fortnightly, the pay does not fluctuate just flat pay, and the experience is in Australia,

and one more question, so I have never lodge in a EOI before, can I just lodge it first without claiming the work experience? as for the first time uploading the document i need to attach skill assessment letter which has this one included.

Actually just wanna point out that with my ANZCO code, they consider 20 hours per week not 40 hours per week.

When you submit the EOI, you don’t attach any documents
That is required only after you get the preinvite or final invite as the case maybe
If you are sure that you can claim points for full time employment with just 20 hours of work, go ahead

You can claim points for experience at any point of time, but remember that everytime your points change, your date of effect in Skillselect is rest to that date
