Hi guys, I am sorry if this may have been asked a lot of times and I have done a lot of reading and have some guesses in my mind, but I just gotta create this so I can double check and make sure I am not overclaiming points so I dont waste any invites and my Money as well. So today I have just received a letter from ACS about the result of my assesment and the result as follow:
The following employment after 03 June 2016 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled
level and relevant to ANZSCO Code 263111 (Computer Network and Systems Engineer).
Dates: 03/19 - 03/20 - 1 year(s) 1 month(s)
Position: Junior IT support
Country: Australia
Since I have done PY, and through enough reading, I can claim 5 points correct?
What makes me writing this thread is because at the bottom there is a saying mentioned that:
While the ACS is authorised to assess ICT skills assessments, the final decision in awarding points remains
with the Department of Home Affairs.
This assessment is based upon the documents provided. By issuing this letter or otherwise, the ACS makes no
representation regarding:
The authenticity of documentation provided or the veracity of content.
The suitability of the applicant for migration or employment.
What I am afraid of is because my experience on the close to 1 year, I am afraid let say if I got unlucky and DHA assess it only for 10- 11 months, due to the nature of my work being casual employment.
So my question is
1) does DHA usually more lstrict in working hours or they usually would follow ACS result?
2) If I submit the evidence that I provide to ACS to DHA, will that be enough? or should I work more months just to be safe? before claiming points?
3) What happen if it turns out they refuse my 1 year experience claim? do i lose Visa applicaiton money or I can get a refund since I am just following ACS result? What is the worst that can happen?
4) In what scenario does DHA would not grant the points?
5) If I start working again lets say on June, same role same company, can I add it to my current assessment without having to re assess again?
P.s: I have not worked recently due to covid pandemic
Your help will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
