Soon to apply for my VLS - TS visa, but I am uncertain that just a letter from the estate agent with a rental agreement would be enough evidence. (I will be renting my house in UK)
My concern is that I would not have this income on my bank statements until if and when I obtain my visa and leave for France.
Will this be sufficient?
Thanks 🙂

As with so many things "it depends." Are you applying for a "visiteur" visa (i.e. the usual for someone retiring to France)? If you are retiring to France without a pension, it may depend on how long you will be relying on the rental income before your pension kicks in. If you are applying for any other sort of a visa, there may be other concerns if you are relying primarily or exclusively on the rental income.

The problem you have is that you are not actually in receipt of the money and there is no proof that you will be but as Bev says who knows? Get the fonctionnaire on a good day OK but if its a bad day.... .The important thing is that you reach the minimum income level for France ie SMIC approximately €1800 per month
