Looks like 3 people voted as "Yes" for receiving the final invite. Can they please mention the dates you submitted and the date you received the final invite?

Pre invite: Feb 12th
Submitted my documents on Feb 14th
Final invite: Feb 26th

After submitting the EOI, you have to wait for the NSW skillselect pre invitation email. You can keep all your documents ready to prove the points you claimed in your EOI. Nothing else that you can do from your side. This thread is for those who received the pre invite from NSW on Feb 12.

I did my first EOI in 2019 and it expired after 3 years without any invitation. When I did my EOI at that time, my friends with same points got invitations just few months before my EOI lodgment date and hence I had high hopes. But it didn't work. And later after years I did the whole round of PTE, Skillassesment and EOI again in July 2023 and got the pre invite in Feb 2024, for which I had no hopes in near future. There is no timeline as such, it all depends on the market conditions and DOHA. Keep checking your emails and keep your documents ready. That's all you can do! Hope this helps!

also, has this ever happened again where they surpassed the timeline ?
tried to find in forums but could not get much details

VIC would routinely exceed the time
NSW used to issue invites in a couple of weeks
But since the last few months, even NSW has become very cautious and is issuing invites after thorough scrutiny
So all timelines are tossed out of the window
Cheers

Some from 18th feb got approved today.
Now I am worried, I thought it's going in sequence on which date the person sent the docs and paid fees
but looks like that's not the case

It's not necessary that the preinvite processing will be done in 6 weeks. It can take more time depending on their backlog. See this :
