Hi

I was having a look at the other thread and some people have had the visa granted roughly the same time i applied for my wife.

Date: 6 Feb 2021

Visa: Set(M)

I paid the Fee paid: 2408.20 GBP

I then uploaded all my documents and had the appointment on 18Feb at the Croydon centre.

I have heard nothing so far, i did not even get a confirmation that we even submitted the documents. Nothing.

Is there a way i can chase this up?

Actually i may had read that wrong. Most ppl still waiting. Although it has been 3 months which 90 percent of cases are normally settled right?

ILR can take up to 6 months to decide, so you're only halfway through the service standard time. There is nothing to chase up and if you try to contact the hotline they'll just give you generic answers. The only confirmation about document submission will be if you paid for the SMS service (which is kind of worthless). Realistically, applications don't just fail to get submitted, it was finalised at the biometrics appointment. I submitted my naturalisation application (also 6 month service standard) around the same time as you, and I'm still waiting myself, so I do understand that it's difficult to be patient. There's really nothing you can realistically do but wait.

Thanks Clever

Hmm ok. My main concern is that me and my wife want to go Hajj this year and i really hope that we get a decision before we can start applying for this pilgrimage. I wanted to pay for the priority service but this option did not exist when i had applied.

I did the same day service for the FLRM and it was so nice having everything sorted in a day.

I really hope i hear something soon

Hi Guys

Ok i am getting really worried now. If the hajj pilgrimage decides to go ahead and me and me wife get places, will i still be able to go while her ILR still pending.?

We had plans to go last year and we are really hoping we can go this year given the opportunity but i am worried about this VISA not comming through in time.

What is the rule on travelling while ILR visa is pending?
