I had applied for passport renewal on 5th Aug and through the old Passport Seva website.
When I checked the site for updates, it has updated to the new site and all out login details were wiped. So we had to create a new account.
Now I can't see any tracking for the application and hence can't access the new file number. The police station in India is asking for the new File Number to facilitate the police check.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Also, how are the processing times looking like now? We have a trip planned in November and don't know if it will be possible now.
