Just make sure you have the marriage certificate attested before you move. It can be done after the move too but it's more expensive then if using a company to do the run around.

 

I'm getting all of our documents attested before the move. At least, I am familiar with the US red tape. lol

 

Also while on the topic of attestation and since you are already getting some things done, might as well go ahead and have your child's birth certificate attested too. There are instances where you might need that out here.

 

If it is you plan to have a settled home ready for kids I'd plan on leaving it two months. Depending on your husband’s company HR, one month to allow for getting of visa, and then your husband moving out of temporary accommodation, into a permanent place for your family, then having all furnishings etc delivered could be a bit ambitious.

It may take a month just to get the visa which can put a block on everything else.

it's worth sending all the attested documents with him, if you have them done in time. It will help his Company get your visa process moving before you arrive, and all will run smoothly.
