My study situation has changed. My student visa is good until June of 2025, but my school canceled the course I was supposed to go into next, so I took an alternative course to get my 2 years worth of study and finished my studies about 7 months early in mid-October. I applied for the 485 visa recently, but the application processing time is 5 months.
Since my student visa is far from expired, my bridging visa is not active. I don't think I can just wait around on a student visa for the next half a year without studying, even if I am waiting for another visa application to be processed. What am I supposed to do?
To add to the situation, I'm flying home for Christmas.
Helpful advice would be HUGELY appreciated right now, because I'm losing sleep over this.
