EU Passport and Living in the UK

I have an EU passport (Romania), and am wanting to move to, and work in London. I currently live in Canada, and have lived there for 16 years.

My understanding is that, if Brexit doesn't happen, I can just walk into London and start working. Is this really all that is involved? Or are there some other steps that I should take/ things to apply for/ etc.

Cheers

No, just your passport is all you need to enter, live and work in UK. You will have to get national insurance number when you start work, but it's easy enough to get with your passport. Romanians used to have extra hops to jump through but all that's changed in 2014. They now have freedom of movement like any other established EU nationals.
