Hi, all. I submitted my naturalisation application at a Sopra Steria centre in Croydon six weeks ago. I never received any confirmation (e.g. by email) and am now having slight panic that I've never gotten anything in writing after my in person appointment.

Can anyone confirm if I should have received confirmation my application was submitted? I have emailed Sopra Steria but don't know when they'll get back to me. Home Office said to ask Sopra Steria...

Thank you!

Hi, I applied today for IRL (Chelmsford) and asked if I should get a confirmation email from Sopra, they told me I wouldn't and that I would only get a Home Office email once decided. I felt the same way, they should send an email to confirm it has been sent.
I paid for premium so I did get only an email from the Home Office with the decision.

Sopra surprisingly came back quickly! See below, if helpful for others:

Thanks for your email. You would not have received a confirmation email from us. Your document's and Biometrics would have been submitted at the end of your appointment, unless stated otherwise. Once your Biometrics and supporting evidence have been submitted, UKVI will undertake the casework and make a decision. You will be advised of the decision within due course by UKVI. UKVCAS has no influence or information on applications once submitted, so we will be unable to respond to any status enquiries. You can contact them on 0300 123 2241 or visit their website on https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/uk-visas-and-immigration . Your account will still show your documents and appointment as this is so you can use your account again in the future.
