I called department of home affairs and informed them that they might have missed out sending ceremony invites for the applicants who got approved in May as most people who got invite for October month are approved in July. They said they will make a note of it and follow up. Not sure if it’s going to affect the outcome. But at least I an hoping that I will be invited for November ceremony. You may as well follow up with the department of immigration and raise your concerns as there are no ceremonies in 2023 after November.

I gave DHA a ring. They checked my records and everything is fine. They don't really have an explanation on why there hasn't been an invite scheduled for me. Eitherways, they've asked to give a ring back on 13th Nov( 6 months post approval) for next steps.

That’s definitely made by Department of Home Affairs and ceremony department. It’s obvious mistakes they made it but it’s unfair as they mentioned calling name for ceremony is by order in approval dates. They have a zero communication and not really care about what we informing. They Just keep saying 6 months….

My friends had experience of more than 6 months like 10 months and the people over the phone they don’t have any answers any times you call. They said case to case is different and that’s normal for some people take more than 6 months. They advising without checking anything in the file and they always saying everything is normal.

Looks like the call up to DHA worked. I have got an invite for 24th October at 1:30 pm

Yep. It worked. I have received the ceremony invite for October 24th as well. Guys don’t delay and call them up immediately if you haven’t received invite.

I just got an invite for 24th Oct, 1.30 PM. My application was approved on 27th July.
Note: I didn't make any follow up call

My dad had an approval since May 15 and he got invitation for Parramatta on Oct.24. Finally. Guys tnx for call to DOHA and reported. Always remember in Australia we need to stand and support each others otherwise they will not hear our voice.

Identify proof like driving license or utility bill
Check the passport website for details of documents required
