I am ready to make the step to relocate to Canada but my husband is in the army has anyone had a similar situation was their husband able to get a transfer???:eek:

no unfortunately he is not. He has heard stories of people who were able to transfer but just wanted to know if anyone had similar experience and knew more about that.

Being a Canadian citizen is a pre-requisite. I suspect those who transferred did so under some arrangement with the British military establishment. Perhaps he should make enquiries with his unit administrative centre.
