ACS case officer asking for details which are already present in the application

ACS case officer wrote an email asking for missing documents which is already part of the documents submitted in my application. Even though statutory declaration is submitted with all details to meet ACS requirements, they are still asking for details like referees contact details, employment evidence etc. I replied back saying they are present in the attachments and even attached in my reply as a reference. But still they come back asking for the same. After querying again, I was told that, these requests are directly from the accessor who viewed my documents and if I am ok they will proceed with the available documents. Did anyone have similar experience? I am not sure about the way forward. Please can someone help? Thanks

If I were you, I would go through all my respective documents and shall see if any key documents missing or what?. I would still send one more set of documents so that accessor could confirm on his/her own by comparing all the documents.
Its better to provide what they ask for, its like not to challenge them with reply :)... Hope this would help you :)

Thanks for your reply. How do I send another set of documents? by email? I dont see an option to remove the uploaded documents from my dashboard. Also please can you advise how I should provide the reason for being unable to obtain reference letter from my previous employer?

Thanks

Just ask them what it is they need. From my expeirence the ACS assessors are very responsive and helpful.

I've had an experience where I did upload my document but he simply didn't see it. I went back and check and told him it was there and he just said "Thanks for the clarification".

ACS has changed the document requirement for applications submitted after 27th September 2019.

Go through the new guidelines and see if you have missed anything assuming you have submitted your application after the above mentioned date.

The list of documents required has changed recently
Go through that revised list carefully and see if any documents are missing
Generally ACS assessors are very careful and don’t ask for irrelevant documents, or those already submitted so be very sure
Post a list of the documents you have submitted and maybe a member may point out if something is missing
Cheers
