I was living in the uk for a number of yrs on a student visa and got engaged in 2010 to a british citizen. Went back home in may last year and returned on a fiance visa.I got married in January 2012 and I am about to apply for my spouse visa and we intend to apply using the premium application which are suitable for people with straight forward applications and would require no further investigation . As I had to seek clearance entry before returning to the uk would my case be classed as straightforward ?? Or should i apply by post ?

Also what is the maintenance requirement ?I know we need to bring the last three month bank statement but what is a considered a sufficient amount to live on ?

You can apply by same-day premium service, provided you don't have poor UK immigration history like refused entry, deportation or denied visa application.

Currently you need ÂŁ105.95 in cash per week left over after paying for housing (rent or mortgage and council tax).
Plus pay slips, job contract, any savings, and any help you are getting from UK residents such as family and friends. Plus evidence of accommodation such as tenancy agreement, mortgage statement etc.

Thank you very much for your help !!!

I was refused a student tier 4 visa and was going through an appeal ...everything was going fine and a date for my appeal was set but i had to leave to go home due to a family emergency , by me leaving the uk everything was dismissed .I had to provide all this information to the embassy in barbados ,my history and all my qualifications obtained , after providing all this information and getting clearance entry I thought I would not have to go through this again !

Anyways thanks you very much for your help was much appreciated !!!
