We asked and asked for a tent but because i was"kano"we were told to go see the americans who had been run out by that time. Even i had been given commendation by phils military for bravery in saving lives of filipinos during yolanda. Wife was 7-8 months pregnant at that time but they didnt care. We slept under a blue tarp for a month or 2. I emailed the us embassy twice as the sign in the airport instructed,with no reply. We own a great piece of land ,but i doubt ill ever go back. My kids WILL be raised in usa.

Our family in Samar by virtue of being related to an American got the same treatment.

All wifes family got help but not us...not even rice. Americans did treat us and our wounds...they asked what i was doing down there and i said"i live here".
