can anyone tell me if the work front as or looks like picking up as we wont to move to spain but as we have two young kids work is a must thanks:confused:

nope, its getting worse. There are now mass strikes and demonstrations going on all over the country to protest about public spending cuts and the mass unemployment. Stick with the UK for now, its in much better shape

In Tenerife, Spain. I've never seen it as bad! A lot of bars are closing down as the freeholders will not drop the rents! The banks will not lend money and until they do it will not get any better! On a up note my lawyer tells me small apartment sales are going through. That's sales of 80,000 to 145,000 €. I really hope it picks up for everyone. God Bless
