Guys, what is the procedure for Work Holiday visa?

I have gone through immi's description of the visa. I gathered that max employment with a particular employer is only 6mths and the visa is valid for a max 1 yr. Though an agent I contacted says validity ranges from 1yrs - 3yrs max with max of 1 yr with single employer.

The visa is valid for 1 year.
If you complete 3 months specified work in a regional area. ie fruit picking, farm work, agriculture, construction in small towns etc. you will be eligible for a 2nd working holiday visa. Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417)

You may only work with one employer for 6 months Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417)

Thats another question which has me confused. My agent says I am but IMMI doesnt.

What passports do you have? And are you sure he said 417 and not 457?

According to DIAC's website for the working holiday visa, India is not a participating country: Visa Options - Working Holiday - Visas & Immigration

Go with the information stated on DIAC's website and not your agent. For a working holiday visa, you actually don't need an agent and can apply online by links provided in immi.gov.au It would not be as complicated or time consuming as applying for skilled visas which has a lot more requirements.
