Hello all, I'm new hear and am just searching for any advice and help possible. My boyfriend and I have been together for about a year and a half, and after talking and sorting things out, we decided that we finally want to take that step of moving to be closer to one another and continue forward with our future. He lives in England, and I live here in the states. I have no idea where to even begin, and I want to make sure I am fully prepared and informed about everything before I applied for anything. What would be the best thing for us to do in order for me to move to England and live with him? Any help and advice would be so greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance. ??

Your options are:

- work visa (Tier 2 and sponsored by employer)

- student visa

Being a US citizen you are not eligible for the Youth Mobility visa or an Ancestry visa.

If you have European ancestry and could obtain a European passport that would make it a lot easier.

You could visit for 6 months but cannot work.
