Hi there

Would you please tell me if a reduction in salary to lower than 18600£ a year, during appeal processing time will result in a definite refusal or not?

The reason for lodging the appeal has nothing to do with the financial side. It is about not being convinced that the marriage is genuine/ the relationship is real.

Thank you for your help

No, as you met the financial requirement at the time of original application. But you should try to get another job or work overtime etc ASAP in case your appeal fails and you have to reapply.

After winning the appeal and before issuing the visa, you can be asked for current financial documents and the visa can be refused again because circumstances have changed.

My sister in law was asked to provide fresh salary slips and bank statements.

Thanks ALKB.

Will they then ask for six months payslips and bankstements or only last month?
I don't know what or whether they will ask at all.

My sister-in-law was asked for two months salary slips and bank statements.
