Hi all

I would like to find out what my options are? I was living in the UK with my then partner from April 2015 to May 2016 (the relationship lasted 5 years, 4 of which we lived together. I was granted a dependant visa on his ancestry visa.

We both moved to the UK and I was employed full time. my then partner cheated and ended our relationship to be with the new person 1 year into us living in the UK. I returned to South Africa as I started suffering from depression (not only due to breakdown of the relationship but also due to the loss of my father).

I am fully recovered now and want to find out what my options are to return to the UK, as I had a really great job and had created a life there.

I know this is a long shot but exploring all my options.

your feedback will be greatly appreciated

Unfortunately it is as Nyclon said. your only option is a Tier 2 work visa , which is very hard to get (unless your job is on a shortage list).

Other than that there really is no way to live in the UK barring provisions such as ancestry visa and spouse visa.
