Hi Everyone
I just wanted to let you know we arrived here in Sydney on Saturday evening and are having a fantastic time!
The flights were fantastic, even with three children aged just 13, 2 and 3!
Going through customs was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome.
We were collected by relatives from the airport, in a rolls royce no less!
Myself and my husband seemed to get over the jet lag quite quickly but our little girls have struggled a bit. A few sleepness nights and lack of appetite means they were pretty grumpy. But last night they slept through. Woo hoo!
I had a meeting at my new work this morning, all looks good there and I am looking forward to a new challenge.
I have had trouble finding a school for my 13 year old. As we are staying with relatives and on a temporary Visa no-one seems to have spaces!
I am also looking in to childcare for our girls but I have found the system to be quite different from the UK and need a bit of time to get my head round it.
We are looking to rent in the St George region but our family have insisted we get on our feet first.
Anything you want to know just ask.
Thanks for all of your advice on helping us get here!
