There is a new scam the thieves are using!!!

They are duplicating keys for the security boxes installed at supermarkets Eroski, Carrefour, Mercadona, Consum, etc..etc and stealing bags and any valuables belonging to customers who use them while shopping!

That isn't a new scam. It has been going on anywhere these security boxes are used for some time. And it's certainly happening in more places than Spain.

Our local Carrefour and Media Mart have security guards watching these areas.
But I wouldn't put anything of value in those boxes anyway.
