There are several things that you need to take into consideration::

* Where are you going to live
* What area do you wish to live in
* Have you looked on the internet, local papers, employment centers to search for work, this may determine where you actually live
* Depending on your qualifications may determine how much you can afford to spend in other area´s of your life

If you are wanting to move by next April then you have your work cut out for you, this is not going to be easy but is achievable.
Search on the internet for accommodation, Hilbery Chaplin - Chartered Surveyors, Property Consultants, Estate Agents or UK's number one property website for properties for sale and to rent, and look in google for "plumber situations vacant in London".
