Hi

can someone help with how much the minimum wages in the following trades:
plastering
bricklaying
roofing
carpentery

Does anyone who are the best agences to go through to find work.

Is it easier to be in Oz before applying for jobs.

How easy is it to find work in this area. It is on the list as wanted trades but they want Ozie qualifications.

Thanks

Hi
when you apply for a visa, you get your skills/qualls recognised first by the aqf which i believe test you to make sure your up to scratch, then they kind of transfere your qualls/exp for you, you have to get registered when you get over there, in whichever state you go to...but there are agencys to help you get your visa.
i suggest you read all through the stickys at the top of the oz page forum as there are some great links there, youll find out most of what you need,
4 weeks ago we were new and knew nothing about emmgrating, now were a little more clued up!
most people (like me) seek the advise of an agent first (migration agent) they can take you through every step (at a cost of about £2,500) but first consultation is usually free:)
hope this help a little
good luck!
