Thanks for that Joppa. How about Ireland? Might as well ask here. I am on my first FLR, do I need a visa to visit there?

Ireland is different. They have entirely separate immigration rules, and while in the Common Travel Area, dependent on your nationality, separate visa may be needed. Check on the Irish Republic government site. There are some countries whose nationals are exempt from Irish visa if they have visit visa for UK, but the Philippines aren't included.

Okay thanks for that. But maybe having an FLR would be easy to get the visit visa. Well I hope so. Thanks again. :)

Yes. Enquire at Irish consulate. Some people think there is no entry formality when arriving in Ireland, but if you fly in, you will go through passport check and not having a required visa will mean not being allowed to enter. There are no border formalities when crossing by road from Northern Ireland, but you can be subject to spot checks in Ireland.
