It has been a long 14 months thinking about emigrating to actually getting my visa.I had to get a sponsord visa because i am over 45, so i had to find a employer to sponsor me, It took a while but eventualy a baker's in perth gave me a chance, So after many form filling and medicals etc it finaly arrived on Thursday 14th Jan the VISA arrived!!.! I've given notice at work i leave next Saturday, that gives us a week to move out of our rented home, send off our furniture, pay off debts etc book plane tickets, say goodbye to family and friends,
and on 2nd Feb 2010 Australia here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to thank everyone on Expatforum for helping me along the way,answering my numerous questions, thank you all for your help and advice.

Wow, 1 week to tie up your old life and move on over. On a good note you are coming in for some nice Summer weather (and even the Autumn will feel quite warm to you). See you at the beach
