Just a few questions

* while in UK on a fiancé visa visa. When you switch from fiancé visa to spouse visa while in UK after marriage, just double checking that it is fine to switch from between these two without having to return to the applicant's original country

* when switching form fiancé to spouse visa, is it alright to apply in post? The website says the decision will be made within 8 weeks by post. Is this reliable?

Thanks.

Yes.

Yes you can apply by post. 8 weeks is a guideline only. If you can afford the extra £400 for an in person appointment you will generally get the decision on the day.

2-3 months on average by post but does vary. Remember you won't be able to travel outside UK as you'll be without your passport.
