Dear Members,

After having immense help from other posts. This is my first post on this forum.
I had applied via an online application for GSM 176 SA Sponsored Visa. My CO is assigned on 21 March 2012 and has requested the following information:

Main Applicant:
Medicals (Do I need to submit this online or the authorized hospital will send it directly)
Police clearance certificate (Do I need to submit this online or mail)
Form 80 (Do I need to submit this online or mail)

Secondary Applicant-(s):
(1st) - Son
Medicals
Passport biopages

(2nd) - Wife
Medicals
Police clearance certificate
Form 80
Passport biopages

Now the situation I am currently facing is that my wife is almost 2 months pregnant therefore I cannot go through for the medical including X-rays. Secondly the passports of my son and wife expire by end of June 2012.

I would be thankful to the community to guide me through my situation as I am confused on how to proceed further with my application and what exactly do I need to communicate to my CO.

Regards,

KHAN

Medicals - You have to take medical tests in recommended hospitals/diagnostics center. Take a look at this link for the list India - Panel Doctors. Medicals will be uploaded or couriered by the medical center directly to DIAC and you should not accept the report. If you accept or open the sealed envelop, it will invalidate your application.

PCC - It is generally done at passport office in their countries but check with other members from your country on this. Once done, you need to scan the endorsement in your passport and if any letter they provide you, scan them all and send it to CO by mail

Form 80 - Download them, fill it, sign it, scan it and send it to CO by mail itself.

Passport expiry - If it is expiring sooner as you said, ask the CO to hold on till you get a new passport. Apply for an appointment and send that doc to CO and ask him to wait till you get a new one. After getting it, fill change of circumstances form 1022 and send to CO and ask him to update the passport details.

New Arrival in your family - Immediately intimate your CO that your wife is pregnant and need a waiver of x-ray. He will guide you on what to do in that case.

Medically it is not recommended to undergo X-Ray for your wife while at earlier stage of pregnancy, You can explain this fact to CO, and CO will wait until baby delivery, so that you will have enough time to solve all issues (passport renewal) and also include newborn baby in your PR application (to avoid separate fee).

If still you are intrested to go for X-Ray, you need to find some diagnostic center who does in safe manner by using some shields.

Choice is yours, I prefer not to go for X-Ray.

Hi Khan;
I will recommend that you get your son's and wife's passport renewed so that there's no issue at a latter stage..
If your application is online then you will have to submit all your docs online..there is no other option...
check out with the hospital if they participate in e-health program..if they do then the hospital will send your medical report directly to DIAC..
you should inform your CO about your wife's pregnancy....
