Hi

Just another quick question. My company provides a gas allowance of over 200 pounds a month as part of my work contract. Can you use that towards the financial requirement.

Also the new rules of October state if your returning to the uk witha job offer you can use the job offer to help meet the requirements. How?

Thanks!

(c) UK and overseas travel, subsistence and accommodation allowances, and allowances relating to the cost of living overseas will not be counted as income.
So fuel allowance seems not allowable.

This has always been the case - when you are returning together to UK, you must have a job offer starting within 3 months that will pay you £18,600 or more. What's new from October is any on-target earnings (OTE) that can be reasonably expected to be earned can be taken into account.
