Can someone please tell me if there is a required minimum monthly income in order to obtain a retirement visa to Spain from the USA? Thanks!

You will probably get a better answer in the Spain forum, but a quick use of the search engine of your choice will likely return that for a non-lucrative visa you will need to provide of sufficient financial resources, with the minimum income requirement set at 400% of IPREM (Indicador PĂşblico de Renta de Efectos MĂşltiples). Currently 28,800 Euro per year.

I've moved this to 'Spain' for you.

Yes, annual income requirement for that visa is 4 x IPREM which comes out to 28,800€ as said.

There's more info here Non-working residence visa

@Ramosgomez You'll apply in your home country, but generally the requirements are the same except where you get your criminal record check.

Look for the website of your nearest Spanish consulate for local details.

28,800 euro for the first applicant then an additional 7,200 euros for each additional family member.
