Hi Guys,

Hope you all doing well. I need your help in choosing the right occupation ANZCO code for my ACS.

I am a SAP ABAP developer with 4+ years of experience. Currently, I am in Australia on a 457 Visa and my nominated occupation in 457 Visa grant is ICT Support Engineer - 263212.

But according to my roles and responsibilities, I believe that my correct ANZCO code for ACS should be - 261312 - Developer Programmer.

Now my question is that, can I apply my ACS in 261312 - Developer Programmer, but my 457 visa occupation is ICT Support Engineer - 263212 ? Please advise which occupation should I choose.

Also, if I apply my ACS in 261312 - Developer Programmer, does ACS cross-checks 457 details as well ? Is there any chances of rejection due to this ? Please help and guide me.

Thanks in advance.

When you are applying for PR, you are going to go with ACS assessment, since your R&R match with 261312 and IF you get a positive assessment from ACS, you are good to go. Lot of people's designation do not match exactly to roles and responsibilities. Dont worry...
