Hi there,
I run a small upholstery business in Aberdeen but want to move to florida (Tampa area) my wife has dual nationality so I don't think there will be a problem getting a green card question is will it be easy enough to find a job in my trade or start a business any help will be much appreciated.

Start the planning for the visa around 8-9 months before you intend to set sail. The visa you require is an IR1/CR1 immigrant visa and you should look at filing the I-130 directly with the Consulate.

Self employed is most probably the way to go since these sort of jobs do not pay their employees a living wage.
