Hi all,

I'm sure you've all seen this topic over and over, but since the past three years we've been watching, first TVmucho, and then Teeveeing, which has been mostly reliable but lately keeps asking me to subscribe again. This now happens after about 30 minutes.I cannot change it!
I have a very good VPN and am looking for an alternative to Teeveeing. Hopefully not costing to much extra and hopefully more reliable! Am I asking too much?

If all you want is Free-to-Air channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc, just use streaming service like iPlayer and ITVX and install them on Amazon Firestick with VPN. If you want subscription channels like Sky Sports and you already have Sky Go, you can do the same (Sky Go plus VPN). Or if you are on Costa Blanca or Northern Spain, you can get Freesat and 80 cm dish to get non-subscription channels. These are the legal ways.

Legal ? 😂 …. None of them are legal

OP … as Joppa has said it really depends what channels you want …..

To give another perspective, personally Ive moved away from VPN’s for several reasons, They can throttle your connection speed, many apps are now smart enough to identify VPN use and probably the most important one for me is that using a VPN means that all apps on the device you are using are forced through the VPN which my not always be what you want.

I’ve posted this on other threads and others have also commented positively about using a product called streamlocator, they have an app for firestick and also have a hub/router. Both of which just work perfectly in my experience. Using this means you can use a multitude of apps without a VPN and without loss of speed and without having to mess with DNS settings etc. I use an Apple TV connected to the streamlocator hub. A family member uses firestick with their app. All the UK apps work seamlessly from whatever device is connected to the hub.

I’m not associated with them, just posting as a very happy user and raising it as an alternative to the many suggestions you’ll no doubt get.
