Hi All,

We are almost done with all the requirements except for the accommodation part. We are both currently living abroad and will be moving back to the UK together. So as for our accommodation we will stay with my husband's (UK national) parents house when we arrive in the UK until we can find our own place (as it is not near where he would be working).

Does a Property inspection report need to be current? They have one in 1992 when his parents bought their house. Would that be sufficient?

Hope to hear a feedback/answer soon.

Thanks Nyclon.

A couple more questions:

We have the Land Registry, Council Tax bill, Utility bill and Insurance (where you can find the details of the house) and the letter from his parents allowing us to live there (also indicating the details of the house).

1. Do we really need to have the Property Inspection Report?
2. My husband's father is a chartered surveyor can he do the report himself?
