Hi,

My sponsor (husband) is currently working in Surrey and renting a room to make some savings on rent and council taxes which are quite expensive in this area. He is planning to move in mid-August in the flat we intend to live in, and as we are planning to apply for the spouse visa in early September is it possible to submit the application without providing any utilities bills ? If not, how long does he have to be in the flat for before submitting the application ? Finally, do we also have to submit a property inspection report or this report is only for shared properties ? :confused2:

Thank you in advance.

If there are no bills, then just send the signed tenancy agreement. If you aren't listed as joint tenant, ask the landlord to pen a letter giving you permission to live at the property.
