Hi, hope someone can advise/help!

My son (UK citizen), wife and step-daughter (venezuelan passports) recently had their passports stolen (currently living in Spain). Son will hopefully be able to replace his passport. His wife has been in contact with the venezuelan embassy in Spain and has been advised that they will not provide her with temporary documentation unless she has a UK residents card? In her passport she had a valid family permit which she has a copy of and also copies of passport picture ID part of passport. She is also in possession of the ?EU residents card for Spain

The main problem they are having is that they are due to return to the UK in June and would like to know if his wife would be allowed entry by the Border Agency without a passport but with the copies of documentation detailed above??

The other query is they will be flying with Easyjet - have looked on their website and this states picture ID residents card accepted, is this the case? As they do not want to turn up at the airport in Spain and refused boarding?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Why don't you contact EasyJet to find out which documents exactly they can accept?

I know that for EEA nationals a valid ID card can be enough, but unlikely for that being enough for a non EEA person.
