Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to have some solid ideas on FOREX.

How can we money to Australia when moving to Australia? If we've already created a bank account, is it better to have funds transferred to the account or take a forex card?

Which method provides the best rates and minimal charges?

You will be transferring from India to Australia?

Unfortunately, TransferWise does not allow that, otherwise it would have been the best option

If from some other country check if TransferWise allows it

It is possible to do a SWIFT transfer from India to Australia.

However, I've seen many members use a FOREX card, hence wanted to know which is the best option, in terms of minimal charges and best exchange rates.

TransferWise appears useful only when sending money to India from any other country (listed).

You would have to calculate both the costs and then decide

The charges differ From bank to bank and even from customer to customer based on your relationship with the bank
