Hi all,

I have a recently got my EEA2 residence card (vignette) and my passport is due to expire in december 2015.

I wanted to transfer it to my new passport and while i was checking the form TOC it says:

''EEA residence permit holders or persons with Indefinite Leave to Remain in the
United Kingdom should not use this form''

It doesn't say which form to use.. so i'd like to know what my options are!

thanks,

Just travel with both passports. There is no mechanism for transferring your residence card, and if you want to, you have to re-apply, pay £65 and wait for several months.

Or apply for new residence card, pay £65, enclose your new passport and then request its return. You can still travel with your both passports, and when you get your new residence card (it may be in the form of a letter called immigration status document rather than a vignette in your new passport), you travel with that and new passport.
