Hello there,

I'm a brazilian citizen married to a british citizen and currently living in the UK with a resident visa. My husband and I were planning to travel to the USA for 2 weeks in July and we found out he doesn't need any visa to go because of the british passport but I need a visa.
Does anyone know how if I really need a visa for only two weeks? If I do, the docs can be sent via mail or I need to deliver them in person? Is it only at the embassy in London? I live in Aberdeen so it's quite far to go to London just for visa application.

Thanks for all the help!

Your husband has o apply for and be granted ESTA prior to being able to board a flight to the US.
Brazil is not a visa waiver country, as far as I can tell. But does a person have to register with ESTA even if they have a regular visa?
Cheers,
Bev
