Hi, I used PBS International Freight to ship my 2 Springers over, I purchased the travel crates from them too, so it all depends how big your pooch is to the size of crate needed, they have to be able to stand, turn and lie down in them, then it goes on weight. I found they were very competative on the crates, they even provided the water bowls.
They provide all the paperwork, all you do is turn up at the freight depot before the flight with all your paperwork, dog passport and of course,
It may seem daunting to us, but these people are dealing with it daily so are experienced, when I left the lads at the freight depot I felt a bit happier they were in safe hands.

By the way, they are based at Gatwick and Heathrow, but I flew out from Manchester, they cover the world.!!
I used PADDS ( Pissouri Area Daily Delivery Service) 96306766 to pick me and the dogs up from the airport on arrival, the crates were huge and my car was still on the container......good service.
Hope that's some use to you.
