Hello,

We received our approved fiancée visa today (yay) thank you to everyone that helped along the way.

They did not send any instructions along with the visa.
My question is if there is a certain timeframe in which I must have my first stamp? I thought I once read within the first month, but I could not find any information on it.

Thanks!

You applied from the U.S.? The visa should be valid for 33 months. You can enter anytime from valid from to valid to date. However, it's in your best interest to enter with at least 30 months remaining to avoid having to apply for FLR (M ) an extra time.

If it is a fiancee visa, isn't it only good for 6 months? ;)

Yes, 6 months from 'valid from' date on your visa. Well, it's in your interest to enter UK soon after, to give you maximum time to give notice, get married and apply for leave to remain as spouse.
