At the moment, my partner and I are waiting for our I-130 approval and I was just wondering, is there a time limit between when your I-130 is approved and commencing the next part of the process, either declaring the agent or filing the DS-260 and Affidavit of Support?

Additionally, once the process is complete and the IR-1 is given, is there a time frame in which you need to enter the US?

Sorry, should have been more specific!

After the I-130 is approved, I've read you need to file 'Choice of Address and Agent (DS-261)', which takes three weeks to process, and then you can look to file the DS 260 etc.
