Hi everybody,
I applied and got my visa for the Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa in July and set my entry date for Jan 2018. I did this as I'm currently working in a role which is giving me good experience and wanted to maximise this before I went.

I've now found out I'm likely to be made redundant :( My question is whether you can do a Vignette Transfer to an earlier date, when the vignette period (mine is 13/01 - 12/02 2018) hasn't started. I know many have been able to apply for a vignette transfer post 30 days but I can't seem to find any information for moving the date earlier.

Anyone who can shed some light on this would be appreciated! It's a crappy situation at the moment

You can't however, work on a tourist visa.
Precisely - the situation is I now have 4-5 months of empty space before my visa starts. I can't spend all of it travelling.

I'll take the risk and apply for vignette transfer, it's worth it to me if it means I can go earlier. The question is really whether this can be done at all i.e. to transfer your 30 vignette to an earlier date months before the original starts.

Guys I'm pretty upset, my suspicions were confirmed and today I was made redundant. If anyone has information about moving the entry date earlier or perhaps who I should contact that would be much appreciated
