Hi.

I applied for a Tier 2 visa on July 7th, and until now (20 working days), a decision hasn't been made yet.

Has anyone here experienced having their TIER 2 visa delayed?

I've already emailed UKVI and they said that my application isn't straightforward and that they need to escalate to the higher authorities.

Can someone please tell me what the possible reasons are for this delay? Most of my colleagues are getting their visas on time. There are only a few of us who got delayed.

Who can say?

As you are not the only one to get delayed and are from same company, maybe the authorities are looking into the company's credentials.

..... or, may its just vacation time and they are short staffed.

Thanks for replying.. This waiting is just very frustrating especially because there's nothing we can do about it.
