Hi, Im a doctor from Asia and have recently been offered a job in the UK.I have got my sponsorship certificate and everything is ready for Tier 2 visa application. My employer asked me to get a Police clearance certificate(PCC) from the countries I have been in last 5 years.I have been in my native country since 2011 and therefore have got the police clearance from my country. But I went to Belarus on a study visa from 2010 to 2011.Now I contacted the Embassy of Belarus for the same and they said it will take at least 3 months to issue a PCC. Will I not be allowed to start working until I a get a PCC from Belarus or can I submit later it when I get it from the Embassy? Also,I have already filled the online application for CRB check in UK through my employer. Please guide me if anyone can.I will be very thankful.

If you need police clearance from Belarus and it takes 3 months, you can still apply for your visa but you can't start work until the clearance is received and handed it.
