Tier 1 Highly Skilled Visa - Question

Hi,

I am an Indian Citizen working in USA on L1 Visa Status. I did my calculation and collected relevant documentary evidence for processing the visa.

Age - Passport - 10 Points
Qualification - Masters Certificate + NARIC Assessment + NARIC Certificate - 35 Points
Earnings - 12 Months Paystub (Online Stamped by HR) + Bank Statement (Online - Stamped by Bank Official) - 45 Points
English Language - University Letter + Degree Certificate + Degree Marksheet + Listed in Point Calculator - 10 Points
Maintenance Funds - Bank Statement - 10 Points (Have maintained more than GBP 3100 in last 3 months)

Based on the assessment; I get 110 points including mandatory points for English Language and Maintenance Funds.

My questions are:
1. Can an Indian Citizen with Legal Immigrant Status in USA apply UK Visa through US Application Center
2. Is the above documentary evidence sufficient or am I missing something
3. Do you advice to process directly by myself or should I use a legal firm to process
4. Will there be any delay since I am an Indian citizen and processing from US. How long will be the approximate processing time

Appreciate in advance for your suggestions.

Hi Jersey,

1. Yes, so long as your L stamp is still valid, you can apply at the British Consulate in the US
2. Not sure on this, but someone else will certainly chime in.
3. Would definitely recommend a law firm to assist you. This will avoid any mistakes and will essentially guarantee a positive result.
4. No delay at all to be expected. The application will likely be adjudicated in a day if you file in NYC.

Best of luck!
