Hi All,

I am starting thread for any help that one might need while filling online ACS application. Please post your questions here, it will help people filling the ACS application.

I m in Personal Details tab. Would like to confirm following things, kindly reply -

1) In Personal Details tab, if one does not have Birth Certificate, I believe one can attach the 10th grade certificate which has DOB there or the first page of passport showing the date of birth of the candidate and select the Attachment Type as Birth Certificate, is this right understanding?

2) Do one has to provide copies of all pages of the Passport (including blank pages) or just the relevant ones?

1. Just the first page of passport showing the date of birth would be sufficient.

2. You dont have to provide copies of all the passport pages. However if you are
trying to prove your work experience in a particular country, you can submit the visa stamp(s) of that country.

3. You need to check the number of fields which allow you to upload the docs. If the number matches or is more than the number of companies you have worked then yes, its better to submit one PDF doc for one company. That way, you make life easier for the Case Officer.

For #3 if I will make 1 pdf I think it's gonna exceed the size limit. Because I have I797/ H1B Petitions, I dont know why single petition document is over 2MB So probably I will put multiple documents in combined PDF with each PDf under 5MB, I guess 5MB is the upper limit for a pdf.

IMHO the scanned copy of your visa page should be sufficient to prove your stay in the country instead of uploading a Peitition document which is more than 2MB. Just a thought.
