Fab storm last night but I wonder who forgot to open the storm drains? The dog and I had a very interesting walk this morning trying to find different ways round the roads without me ending up ankle deep and him having to learn to swim
People here don't know how to drive through the flooding, they go too slowly and get stuck or, worse, they slow down to the extent that you can end up stuck because they decide to go slow when they are halfway through it or they speed through and chuck the water everywhere. They also don't know they have to dry their brakes after they get out of the water, so - really - hazard lights are the least of it.
Actually I think most people go way too fast through the flooded areas. I've seen a few people hit giant puddles at speed and their cars have nose dived and skidded as they slammed on the brakes. People also don't leave enough distance between cars going through water.
