hi all,

I keep saying each question will be my last, and I keep having more...

we've live in the same rented flat since our last flr(m) application, I've just realised that our lease runs out only a few weeks after our premium appointment in August. Has anyone had a similar situation?

In the last application I also included a letter from our landlady stating that we were lead tenants and that we sublet the two other bedrooms and stuff like that. I will be asking her to write this again, do you think I should also ask her to address the fact that our lease is ending and say that she will consider renewing it etc.? Or is the fact that our agreement is current enough?

again, so many thanks for all the help

If it's an AST, then after the initial term (usually 6 or 12 months), the tenancy is automatically extended (becomes periodic tenancy) unless either side serves notice. So you should not need confirmation of renewal or extension, but I suppose there's no harm in providing.
